My dog is super picky and usually just sniffs his food and walks away like he’s judging my life choices. But with this one, he goes right for it and finishes the whole bowl every time. If you’ve got a picky eater too, it might be worth trying a small bag first to see how your pup does with it. So far, we’re really happy with it.

I’ve been using this for my senior dog, and it makes me feel better seeing him do well with it. At his age, I worry about every little change, so when something seems to work and he seems comfortable, that means a lot to me.

My dog had no problem eating it, so that part was fine. But looking at the nutrition, it just didn’t feel super balanced to me, maybe not enough protein and a bit too much filler stuff. I don’t think I’ll be buying it again anytime soon 😕

I don’t know why, but I was kind of hoping Nature’s Recipe would do more for my dog’s dry skin. His coat does seem a little shinier since switching, so that’s a plus, and he eats it without any fuss. No stomach problems either, which I appreciate. But the dry skin hasn’t really cleared up all the way. Overall, it’s fine, not bad, just not as impressive as I hoped.

I’ve been buying Nature’s Recipe for my dog for a while now, it’s been a good deal for us. The price feels reasonable compared to a few other brands I’ve tried, and the bags last a decent amount of time. Biggest win is that my dog actually eats it without me having to add toppers or mix in anything extra.

If you’re shopping around, I’d say keep an eye out for sales because that’s usually when I stock up. Even at regular price, though, it doesn’t feel overpriced for the quality. For anyone in the same boat trying to find something affordable that their dog will actually eat, this one has been worth it for us...

I switched my old beagle over to Nature’s Recipe after weeks of dealing with his upset tummy, i’m expecting an apology from him for all the stress he put me through. After a couple weeks, his poops are finally normal, and he actually has more pep on our walks. Ordering from the site was easy too, which was a nice bonus. Really glad we gave it a try.

I’ve tried Nature’s Recipe a few times, and overall it’s been decent. They do have a solid mix of the basics, especially if your dog is into chicken or lamb, which mine usually is unless he suddenly decides he’s a food critic for no reason. I also noticed some grain-free and wet food options, so that was a nice little bonus.

That said, I did find myself wishing there were more choices for pickier dogs or pets with more specific diet needs. It’s not a bad brand at all, and I’d still consider buying it again, but sometimes the selection feels a little limited when you’re standing there comparing bags and somehow thinking about what your dog would order at a restaurant.

I really do like the food itself, but the packaging was disappointing. The weird part is the bag showed up with a split along the side, so there was kibble loose all over the box. Then the reseal strip didn’t even work, so I ended up taping the bag shut. For the price, I expected better

My dog can be a little sensitive when we change his food, and usually we end up dealing with loose stool for a bit. This Nature’s Recipe food seemed to sit with him well, though. It took a few days for him to fully adjust, but there weren’t any big messes or weird stomach noises, which I appreciated. He eats it without any fuss too. I’m giving it 4 stars because the price of the bag has gone up a little, but digestion-wise, it’s been a good option for us. I’d probably recommend giving it a try if your dog has a touchy stomach.

My dog seems to really like the grain-free choices. I’m assuming from how excited he gets at mealtime that it’s a hit, and so far we haven’t had any issues with it.

I tried Nature's Recipe for my medium-sized dog and, like, the food itself seemed totally fine. He ate it okay, nothing seemed off there. But the portion guide kind of left me guessing, and I kept going back and forth between giving him too much or not quite enough.

Maybe it works better for smaller dogs, I don’t know, but for us it just wasn’t super practical. Some days he’d still act hungry, other days he’d leave food behind, so yeah... I just wish the serving info was a bit clearer

I liked that there were several protein choices for my dog. I did second-guess which one to go with at first, but it’s nice having options instead of being stuck with just one.

The food itself is great and my dog loves it, but I swear every single time I go to order the one flavor he actually eats, it’s out of stock. Like… come on. It’s not the end of the world, but when you’re trying to get dog food on time, it feels like a full-blown crisis. Super annoying.

I don’t know, I just feel really comfortable giving this to my dog. Recalls and safety stuff always make me nervous with pet food, but with this brand I’ve never had that little worried feeling in the back of my mind. My dog does well on it, I trust what they’re doing, and it’s just one less thing for me to stress about.

I don’t know, maybe it’s just me, but every batch feels a little different. Sometimes the texture or taste seems off compared to the last one, and it makes me wonder if the formula keeps changing or something...

I’ve ordered a few times now and the shipping has been dependable, with everything usually showing up when it’s supposed to and only one box arriving a day late, which wasn’t a huge deal for me, so overall I’d say it’s been a reliable experience.

I really wanted this to work because I’m always biased toward trying healthier-looking options for my dog, but after about two weeks his poop just got softer and messier. Maybe other dogs do fine on it, but it definitely wasn’t a good fit for us, so we switched back to his old food.

It was okay, but it could’ve been fresher. Whoever runs this really needs to pay a bit more attention to the quality.

The person who replied was friendly and actually seemed to read what I wrote, instead of sending some generic copy-and-paste response. They helped sort out the shipping issue without making it complicated.

My dog food arrived just fine after that, and the whole thing ended up being way easier than I expected. I’d definitely order from them again since the customer service was so smooth.
